What to Check on Your MEPCO Bill

Do not look only at the final amount. A quick review can help you notice a wrong reading, old arrears or a changed tariff category before the due date passes.

  • Billing month and meter reading dates
  • Previous reading, present reading and total units
  • Due date, amount within due date and amount after due date
  • Arrears, late payment surcharge or previous unpaid balance
  • FPA/FCA, quarterly adjustment, GST and other government charges
  • Tariff category, protected or unprotected status, and peak/off-peak units if shown
